2023 Certified AS 9100
2015 Gah Hong have ventured into the OEM market, specialising in the manufacturing of high-precision parts
2013 Relocated to a brand-new 4500mq facility and is fully outfitted with 100 state-of-the-art machines
2010 Certified ISO 9100
2007 Diversified into the Semiconductor and Optical sector
2006 Expanded to a facility that is eight times larger and equipped with 45 state-of-the-art machines
2003 Started mass production for customers in Singapore, Denmark, Japan
1999 Expanded to Sdn Bhd, Gah Hong moved to a 120mq new plant and produces sporting equipments and spare parts. Sales rose by 10x!
1994 "Quality but not quantity", Gah Hong began the production of jigs and fixtures for forging tools
1992 Kelvin Lye founded Gah Hong Enterprise with 1 machine and 2 employees

about our Factory

In 1992, Kelvin Lye founded “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” in Malaysia. With just 1 machine and 1 employee, the early years were beset with highs and lows. It was only from the mid-1990s on that things took off quickly and unstoppably.
